Anyone know/use SLATE?

Someone in our team asked about this framework(?) called Slate. Or is it
SLATE?

Has anyone heard of it or used it? 

A quick Google gave a result which talked about a Slate programming
language. But, is there a framework called SLATE?

Any pointers/tips would be appreciated.
