I think there's one called DBVisualizer - interfaces with not just Oracle,
but other DBs too. And, I think it's free.

Hope this helps.

Subject: [Juglist] please recommend Oracle interface

I need to connect to an Oracle 8 database and interact with it, at least
giving SQL commands in a console.

Can the list recommend a good Oracle interface tool which is either free or
cheap?

I'm working with Windows XP and Eclipse, on a Java application which
connects to Oracle through JDBC, though I don't suppose that would affect
the choice of an Oracle client interface.

Thanks,

Rich Hammer
