That would be very interesting.  On that note, have (or anybody else) 
you tried JBoss Portal yet?  I've been playing with that the
last few days and am pretty impressed. 
I'm just learning to write portlets (still at about the "hello, world" 
stage) but from what I've seen the JBoss Portal
is a pretty slick piece of work.
