Agile Software Testing Strategies 


Creating and maintaining a solid automated test suite is critical to an
Agile strategy, but often we're just told to "Do it." In this talk we'll
look at several pragmatic strategies for creating and building your suite. 

We'll examine these strategies and then look at scenarios for using them
next week. This presentation will get you started whether you're starting a
new project or trying to clean up an existing one.

Software Projects, is a speaker and independent consultant who specializes
in using off-the-shelf technologies to solve tough problems. With more than
10 years of experience, Jared has been a consultant, developer, tester, and
manager, including Director of Development at several companies. Until
recently he managed a team of developers and testers at SAS Institute, Inc.,
and deployed a Continuous Integration System for nearly 300 projects, 5
million lines of code, and over 1,800 developers. He also led a company-wide

Proceed West on I40 to Davis Drive (Exit 280) Take exit for Davis Drive. At
the top of the ramp turn left (south) on Davis Drive Proceed to the light at
Davis and 54 (aprox 1/3 mile) Turn left onto 54. Proceed approx. 1/4 mile to
first (of 3) Nortel entrances on your left. Turn left into Nortel site (you
should see a pond to your right) Proceed aprox. 200 yards to the first right
turn into parking lot. Park near center of near side of building Enter
through guard station near BIG YELLOW WALL. (Know your car's license plate
number -- guard may ask.) 
>From Durham:
Proceed East on I40 to Davis Drive (Exit 280) Take exit for Davis Drive. At
the top of the ramp turn left (south) on Davis Drive Proceed to the light at
Davis and 54 (approx 1/4 mile) Turn left onto 54. Proceed approx. 1/4 mile
to first (of 3) Nortel entrances on your left. Turn left into Nortel site
