I've noticed a couple of people pop in, take a quick look around
and leave.  Possibly because there's almost nobody on the channel
and nothing really going on.  Bit of a chicken-or-the-egg problem
isn't it?

For IRC to be valuable it kinda depends on the network effect.  I'd
encourage all JUG'ers to consider adding #trijug to their list of
"auto-join" channels (assuming your IRC client supports such a notion,
most modern ones do) and just lurk for a bit...  it might take a while
before the channel becomes a thriving hive of yummy Tri-JUG'ey goodness
but give it time.... ;-)

And as an aside, for anyone who isn't already aware, there are lots of
other interesting channels on Freenode.  Many open-source projects
have their official channels there, and other Triangle
area organizations have a presence as well (see #trilug for an example).

I recommend ##java, #eclipse, #hibernate, and #jboss as possibly being
of interest to some of us lot.  But please, please, stay out of
#pr0nvids-bin.  :-)
