At this weeks meeting there was some talk about forums that folks
participate in an what tools they use to do so. I personally am
heavily involved in Groovy and Grails development and spend a lot of
time on these forums. To work with them I use:

http://www.nabble.com/

The nabble forums can be sent to my inbox like a normal mailing list
or they can be used as a web based forum system. I don't know much
about how you would set up a juglist to work with nabble but it seems
to me to be something that would be worth while.

Consider this post in my blog:
http://hartsock.blogspot.com/2007/12/seven-sins-of-bad-groovy-programming.html

I can now deep link to a forum post and reference it in my blog.

Now all forum posts are "google-able" and that means they are no
longer private... that could be seen as either a benefit or a
detriment.
