Hi All, I'm writing on behalf of Mark Hansen, the author of "SOA using Java Web Services". Mark is reaching out to Java User Groups to find people who would be interested in providing feedback on the new technology (called ServiceLayer) that his company is developing that makes Web Services application development in Java much easier. The open source version of our product is called "SOA-J". By helping with the survey/market research, you will be helping to improve SOA-J. We are looking for participants who have hands-on experience working with Java Web Services platforms such as JAX-WS, Apache Axis, XFire, Celtix, CXF, JBossWS, Glue, Systinet Server, etc. Participants will spend about one hour talking with Mark about ServiceLayer. He will give a technology demo (either in person, or via WebEx) and a short presentation (about 30 minutes). Then, he will ask the participant some questions, particularly focusing on how ServiceLayer might be used at his/her company and what problems it might help to solve. Mark would also like to discuss how ServiceLayer could be improved or what additional features should be added. As a thank you, Mark will send each participant a signed copy of his book. (see: http://www.amazon.com/SOA-Using-Java-Web-Services/dp/0130449687) This information sharing could be of great value for those who wish to gain insight to our technology and help define a product that will benefit the entire user community. If members of the Triangle Java User Group would be interested in participating in this research, please feel free to contact me directly or send email to survey-DN5LeYAEtUpcov/[email protected] We greatly appreciate any input you may provide. Sincerely, Jenny Dewar AgileIT http://agileitinc.com _______________________________________________ Juglist mailing list [email protected] http://trijug.org/mailman/listinfo/juglist_trijug.org
