What version of Hibernate and what schema export task are you using? 
Are you delegating to the Ant task?  Using the one in Eclipse / 
Hibernate Tools?

Tell me what you're doing, how you have set it up and what you see and 
I'll see if I can help.  Are the tables created in your database?
