Details are below. -Chris ========================================================== www.trijug.org Title: Semantic Web Summary: This "Introduction to the Semantic Web" talk will provide a brief introduction to the vision and concepts of the Semantic Web, and introduce some of the key enabling technologies: RDF, RDFS, OWL, SPARQL, etc. We'll also cover using the open-source Jena framework to build Semantic Web applications in Java. If time permits, we may also be able to look at using the Pellet reasoning engine.
