6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Meeting at Nortel Networks
4001 E. Chapel Hill-Nelson Highway
Research Triangle Park, North Carolina
(Google doesn't understand this address: see direction details below)

Presentation summary:

A final release of Jython 2.5 came out earlier this year. Jython is an
implementation of the dynamic object oriented language Python for the JVM.
The Jython project has been collaborating with a number of Python web
framework projects to make sure that they work well on the Jython platform.
Django and Pylons are two popular Python web frameworks that are working
well on Jython. In this talk, I will demonstrate how to use these
frameworks
to deploy Python based applications to Java web servers.
