I'd add it's often useful to get up on new technologies (showing you are interested in learning), so add in things like Hadoop, Cassandra, HBase and other NOSQL stuff, as well as Lucene/Solr.  Mobile dev. as well.

Find a good open source project and start contributing.   There are a ton of them out there  (and some of them are even good) and you see ads for people who use those technologies that are hiring all the time.
