Very much interested. Excellent initiative. Thanks. I don't recall seeing GWT, Groovy, Grails, Eclipse-Link(alternative to Hibernate) on the prev emails on this topic. Spring, JPA, JSON could also be high up on our list. GWT especially seems to be catching up as a preferred tech with many companies - including ours - for Web 2.0-centric UIs. As a suggestion, it would be a good idea to write up a mini-project that includes multi technologies and uses various patterns from ground up. Time consuming - yes but possibly the best/only way to learn new tech is the hands-on way. The real challenge now is to find that extra bit of time/effort. I'm in anyway. -Anand ----- Original Message ----- From: Harold Meder <[email protected]> Date: Friday, April 30, 2010 11:59 pm Subject: Re: [Juglist] So what does it take to get a Job around here?
