Presentation summary:

   How can Java be used to overcome the challenges of high-speed modern 
banking? Learn how Java is being applied by Deutsche Bank on 
up-and-coming projects at their new development center in Cary.  A 
technical overview and architecture behind our near real-time analytics 
system and how to build a slick UI using ExtJS (with DWR) will be 
discussed in detail.

About the Speaker

   Will Calhoun is a somewhat recent addition to the North Carolina area 
and a recent edition to DBGT.  He has over 5 years of JAVA experience in 
the Healthcare Industry (2 more in other industries) developing 
scalable/high volume applications and now he's applying this knowledge 
to the financial industry.

   This meeting sponsored by the Deutsche Bank Blobal Technology Center 
in Cary. DB is still building out this center and their recruiting 
manager Andrea Hatch will be at the meeting.

Admission:

   Paid-up members of TriJUG may attend without additional charge. 
Non-members are asked to pay $5 per meeting. However, if you are either 
a full time student or unemployed, then we ask only $2 per meeting. 
Membership for 12 months is $40 and $15 respectively.

  From the Raleigh Beltline:

    Take the Western Blvd exit east toward downtown Raleigh. After 
crossing Gorman Street turn right onto Varsity Drive. After crossing 
Avent Ferry Road and Main Campus Drive, Red Hat's main entrance is on 
the left. Parking is just beyond the entrance: a left into the parking 
deck. Come back out of the deck, follow the sidewalk to the right and 
back to the main entrance. The meeting room is to the left after 
entering the main lobby.
