[ANN] Clojure Training for the Triangle - June 26th

Good day TriJug!

At a TriJug in October, Aaron Bedra presented "Programming Clojure" to
you all. Have you had a chance to take a deeper look at Clojure yet?

Well, whether you are just starting to look into the power of the
Clojure programming language, or are ready to jump in and really start
to learn how to best apply this language to your day job, I'd like to
tell you about the Clojure training that Clojure/core is offering
right in Durham!

Since the Triangle is our home, we are kicking off our Clojure/core
Roadshow in Durham with an Introduction to Clojure training class.
This course is for anyone who has an interest in learning more about
functional programming in general, and Clojure in particular. Although
the course is geared toward participants with some level of
programming experience, it does not assume any existing knowledge of
Clojure.

Daily sessions alternate between lectures and lab work, and you should
expect several hours of direct programming practice with instructors
circling through participants to answer questions and encourage new
practices.

Topics explored over the three day class include
* Functions
* Names and Namespaces
* Collections
* Flow Control
* Concurrency
* Polymorphism
* Macros
* ClojureScript
* Life on the JVM

As an added bonus, we'll be adding a fourth, special day, where we
will offer a workshop on Datomic, the new distributed database built
for the cloud.
