Is it Mandarin Chinese in Pinyin?

If so, the IANA code is "zh-Latn-pinyin" If it's some other system, there may be a similar code, but note that -Latn is included to indicate the Latin alphabet.

IANA - https://www.iana.org/assignments/language-subtag-registry/language-subtag-registry

Hope this helps.

Hi All,

A colleague is working on creating an ebook that includes transliterated content in an English book. What is the correct way to tag the Chinese words that are transliterated into Latin characters?

Thanks
