Call for Proposals: Accessing Higher Ground 2020 – Dea dline Extended

Accessing Higher Ground: Accessible Media, Web & Technology Conference – November 16 – 20, 2020

Proposal Deadline: May 8



Accessing Higher Ground 2020 is now accepting proposals for its 23rd Annual Conference in Denver, Colorado.*



Due to the uncertainty caused by the pandemic, individuals will not be penalized for submitting a proposal and later declining to present at the conference onsite. Attendees and speakers will also be allowed to cancel their registrations until very close to the conference without a cancellation fee.



Although the first-round deadline is May 8 we will review submissions on a rolling basis and will post accepted sessions on the conference website<https://accessinghigherground.org/accepted-sessions-for-ahg-2020/> as they occur.



AHG focuses on:



•       accessible media

•       Universal Design

•       best practices for web & media development

•       accessible curriculum

•       alternate format

•       teaching about accessibility and UD in university curriculum (and elsewhere)

•       evidence-based research

•       other topics related to accessibility in higher education and other environment
