All,

As the documentation outlines on the WCAG site states the standards are tec=
hnology agnostic. The mobile vendors and other folks who create native apps=
do not necessarily agree with that statement. EG Apple state use our nativ=
e SDKs, design documentation and the WCAG is for web. Android Google has s=
imilar comments. When you review the techniques and failures, they specifi=
cally are web focus with PDF support. I have excluded Silver Light and Flas=
h or similar old technology. This re-enforces this concept. There isn't cur=
rently any other standard which is mobile native other then one of the old =
ISO Human Ergonomic standards which was last updated in 2010 and isn't real=
ly mobile focus at all. It is more generic in nature.

Is the GA (silver) project going to address this issue for Native built app=
s? I am being very specific here. I am not talking about apps that are usin=
g any web form of technology. I am only talking about apps that are using n=
ative code for a specific mobile platform.

Regards
Sean
