I saw this today: Google Research Blog: A picture is worth a thousand (coherent) words: building a natural description of images (http://googleresearch.blogspot.co.uk/2014/11/a-picture-is-worth-thousand-coherent.html) It's great to see more progress on auto-describing pictures. If such a system were paired with the ability for the author to accept/modify/reject, it could meet ATAG 2.0 SC B.2.3.2 Automating Repair of Text Alternatives (http://www.w3.org/TR/2013/CR-ATAG20-20131107/#sc_b232) Cheers, Jan (MR) JAN RICHARDS PROJECT MANAGER INCLUSIVE DESIGN RESEARCH CENTRE (IDRC) OCAD UNIVERSITY T 416 977 6000 x3957 F 416 977 9844 E [email protected]
