Hi C.E. I wouldn't translate that yet, since I'm still working on the text. For example, I still need to work through some comments that you made and implement those changes. I'm hoping that we are not too far off = publishing this document as a WG Note - at which point, translation would then be appropriate. Btw, translators need to ask me about anything that is below http://www.w3.org/International/ (see the instructions at http://www.w3.org/International/2004/06/translation Cheers, RI =3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D=3D Richard Ishida Internationalization Lead W3C (World Wide Web Consortium) http://www.w3.org/People/Ishida/ http://www.w3.org/International/ http://people.w3.org/rishida/blog/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/ishida/ =20 > -----Original Message----- > From: [email protected]=20 > [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of CE Whitehead > Sent: 17 November 2006 21:11 > To: [email protected] > Cc: [email protected] > Subject: French translation possible of document? >=20 >=20 > Hi! > I'm thinking I'd like to now try to translate into French,=20 > "Internationalization Best Practices: Specifying Language in=20 > XHTML & HTML Content." >=20 > It's a working draft. > I think the most current version of the document available is at: > http://www.w3.org/TR/i18n-html-tech-lang/ >=20 > But I might be wrong. >=20 > I checked and no one has translated it yet, nor asked to. >=20 > Would a translation of this document be a good idea? >=20 > Thanks. >=20 > --C.
