It would help if you could be more specific. If the current HTML checker
has specific shortcomings that you can help identify, then we can consider
those and look into fixing them.

CS6 had integration with the legacy validator. If you or anybody else on
the list has any idea what we could do to get that updated to use the
current HTML checker rather than the legacy validator, that would be great.

Without knowing things like what results format Dreamweaver expects, it=E2=

hard to know what else to do.=20

Yeah we=E2=80=99re not going to do that. The legacy validator is based on l=
ong-
obsoleted technologies and nobody is currently maintaining it and no
substantive updates have been made to it for 3 years.

The current HTML checker, on the other hand, is very actively maintained
and gets updated weekly. If the current checker has shortcomings, the right
way to deal with that is to identify those so that we can consider them and
looking into fixing them.
