Dear XSL editors,

Following a discussion online regarding the need to pattern a collection of
simple-page-master page geometries, I'd like to request a future version of
XSL-FO consider a new construct to indicate the repetition of an arbitrary
collection of sub-sequences.

   http://xep.xattic.com/lists/xep-support/0742.html

This new wrapper would be a sub-sequence specifier whose children are
sub-sequence specifiers, as in the following example:

   <new-construct-here maximum-repeats="no-limit|<number>|inherit">
     <single-page-master-reference master-reference="page-1-of-4"/>
     <single-page-master-reference master-reference="page-2-of-4"/>
     <single-page-master-reference master-reference="page-3-of-4"/>
     <single-page-master-reference master-reference="page-4-of-4"/>
   </new-construct-here>

I would think that any sub-sequence specifier (including this new
construct) could be a child of this new construct.

I hope this helps!

............... Ken
