At this point, I think we’re safe to remove the >= 6.2 qualifier, since we don’t support anything earlier than 10.9. For a quick and dirty workaround, try editing <Your Fink Tree>/dists/stable/main/finkinfo/languages/gcc9.info <http://gcc9.info/> and feel free to take out the whole “xcode >= 6.2” in the BuildDepends line. > > I’m also curious what exactly wants to drag gcc9 into the imagemagick build chain.
