cernlib issue with Catalina OS

Greetings.

Firstly, thank you very much for your project.

Currently, I am working in a physics group with some old codes written
in fortran that uses the old libraries of cernlib.

I was able to install them with apt-get in a linux environment with
Ubuntu 18.04. But I am interested in also installing them in my pc
that has the Catalina 10.15.4 OS. But after successfully installing
fink with the script that you provided for mac computers (which I
think I did), I am unable to install the cernlib with the fink
command, nor with apt-get (this last obtained with fink).

This confuses my because people whit iOS have told me that they were
able to do it, even though, I do not think they were using the
Catalina OS.

Therefore, is this a thing regarding the OS, or might be something about my pc?

This will be helpful to other members of the group that also use macs,
including me, because we would like to have the cernlib in our pc.
