I did a selfupdate using rsync on 10.15.4 and looked for cernlib2006. I did not find it. I found geant4.9 when I looked for cernlib. > On May 13, 2020, at 5:14 PM, Hanspeter Niederstrasser <[email protected]> wrote: > > On 5/13/20 11:39 AM, Remi Mommsen wrote: >> Hi, >>> On 13 May 2020, at 6:29 PM, Alexander Hansen <[email protected]> wrote: >>> >>> >>> >>>> On May 13, 2020, at 07:17, Gustavo Alcalá <[email protected]> wrote: >>>> >>>> Greetings. >>>> >>>> Firstly, thank you very much for your project. >>>> >>>> Currently, I am working in a physics group with some old codes written >>>> in fortran that uses the old libraries of cernlib. >>>> >>>> I was able to install them with apt-get in a linux environment with >>>> Ubuntu 18.04. Fink uses its own database and set of pre-built packages to download, so it need not have the same packages available as Ubuntu. In point of fact, we don’t have any built packages for 10.15 yet. Similarly, the cernlib packages aren’t available on 10.15 yet to build from source even though they available on earlier OS versions. I don’t use it myself, so I’m not sure why. >> CERNLIB was already mostly broken in 10.14. I don't think it will ever work on 10.15, which enforces that all applications are 64-bit. I don't have time to even start looking into how to get CERNLIB compiled with 64-bit. Sorry. > > > Remi, > > I was just able to build both cernlib2006 and geant4.9-cernlib on 10.15 with no changes to the current packages besides commenting out the Distribution: field. I have no idea if cernlib2006 actually works, but at least it builds. > > Hanspeter > > > _______________________________________________ > Fink-beginners mailing list > [email protected] > List archive: > https://sourceforge.net/p/fink/mailman/fink-users/ > Subscription management: > https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [email protected] List archive: https://sourceforge.net/p/fink/mailman/fink-users/ Subscription management: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
