installation of fink: error with finkmirrors

Dear all,

After switching to OS X 10.15, I need to reinstall fink.
I followed the instructions on the fink page.
During ./bootstrap, I get the following error message:

end of error, defaults to command line.

I tried to rerun bootstrap, but then it does not want to reinstall in the
same dir again.
Any idea how to fix it?

Running

/opt/sw/bin/pathsetup.sh

works, but then

fink selfupdate-rsync

tells me: command not found
