You have a lot of local changes to Fink's .info files. Go into /sw/fink,
then use 'git diff' to see what the changes to actual files are. Any
changes that you no longer need can be eliminated by using this command:

git checkout <FILENAME>

which will reset that file to what your local version of Fink knows
about. This could take some time to go through all those files.

You can also use the command

git stash push -m "files temporarily stored"

to temporarily hide all the modified files (or any you want to keep
after resetting the rest).

tl;dr: If 'git diff' tells you none of the local changes are needed, you
can just use 'git checkout <LIST OF FILES>' to reset them all.
Otherwise, reset the changes you don't need, and use git stash to
temporarily hide the changes you do want to keep. Then 'fink selfupdate'.

I noticed you're using a fairly old fink (v0.44.0) that doesn't seem to
know about the special case that is macOS 10.14 for micro versions .5
and above. Hopefully that won't give you problems.

If everything still fails, download fink-0.45.2 from
https://www.finkproject.org/download/srcdist.php

Unpack the tarball, then run './inject.pl' from the expanded tarball
directory to force updating to the latest fink release. Then 'fink
selfupdate' should behave better.
