git clone https://github.com/TheSin-/fink
cd fink
git checkout dpkg1.16
./bootstrap

This will work for a fresh Fink install. When setup asks you about using 
the binary distribution, select "No".
There's a bug (being worked on) that currently blocks some upgrading 
from an existing Fink install when using ./inject.pl, but this will work 
for a fresh install.
