Big Sur on an M1 - any ideas?

Hi,

I joined this mailing list (and the fink-users list) after finding a thread about getting fink working on big sur in general, and there was also a discussion about getting it working on an M1. I’m running into the same problem the other poster had, and I didn’t see any follow up. It’s a brand new install, and I’m fine trying pretty much anything, as I’d rather not switch over to using homebrew. Usually I don’t have any problem keeping fink running, although I don’t have any 10.15 systems setup, just 10.14 and earlier. 

I’m posting here, since it’s where the other thread on the M1 was, but I’m happy to take this to a different place, if that’s better. Thanks in advance for any pointers. 

I haven’t updated with the latest patches to BigSur, but I can bump patching up in the schedule that if that helps.
