Yeah, probably best to do separate threads for those.  Make sure to use the actual package that failed (e.g. autogen instead of emacs25).  

For gnuplot, I’d recommend trying the -nox (or -app) versions of the emacs packages, as not all X11-using packages have been updated to deal with changes in the new XQuartz.
