See this comment for a patch to fix this issue: https://github.com/fink/fink/issues/255#issuecomment-1684711978 If you're bootstrapping fink from scratch you'll run into a later failure about the `-read_only_stubs` in dpkg, but if this was a system upgrade to an existing install, that shouldn't affect you.
