Thanks for your help!  Both perl -v and fink-virtual-pkgs –debug show that I do in fact have this version of perl:

system-perl5303 should be found automatically by Fink because you should
have /usr/bin/perl5.30 (which is version 5.30.3 on macOS 12.x).

I guess check that `/usr/bin/perl -v` does report back as 5.30.3.
Also look at the output of `fink-virtual-pkgs --debug` and see what it
says for system perl (relevant output for that should be near the top).

Use a browser other then IE
Take a screenshot
Use the toolbar that pops up in IE6 when you hover the mouse over an image
Click the EDIT item in the main toolbar and then grab the image from Word
