I am new to Ventura. Had fink on 10.5 and earlier. So I cannot seem to get fink installed. "willyt@Williams-MacBook-Pro fink-0.45.6 % ./bootstrap Fink must be installed and run with superuser (root) privileges. Fink canautomatically try to become root when it's run from a user account. Sinceyou're currently running this script as a normal user, the method you choosewill also be used immediately for this script. " The suggestion to run 'fink selfupdate' seems kind of silly with a fresh install. Is there an EASY fix for this? Google gave me no understandable fix. fink-0.45.6 not installed Processor 2.8 GHz Quad-Core Intel core i7Graphics. Intel HD Graphics 630 1536 MBMemory 16 GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3macOS.
