Hi dan,

A) In https://forums.developer.apple.com/forums/thread/729072, some sort of error occurred in Ventura(13.3) and Xcode&CLT 13.3.

I do not understand you told that errors of Sonoma14.4.1 and Xcode&CLT 15.3 I sent look like your sited errors(under your set condition) above site. Please explain more in detail what look like each other in the way that novices would understand.

B) What macOS did you use, in your several "Fink Recent Package Updates”(//www.finkproject.org/index.php?phpLang=en <x-msg://www.finkproject.org/index.php?phpLang=en>) where gcc12 be working in all your Updates. Then it would never be Sonoma 14.4.1.

C) Problem is gcc12 install was unsuccessful in Sonoma 14.4.1 (see repeatedly sent gcc12 install full log). I believe you are the maintainer of gcc12. You do it hopefully ASAP. It looks crazy major compiler does not work.

I think fink tries hard to sanitize the shell environment during the compile process, but it's long been known that /usr/local can interfere in ways fink can't control. So...is your xcode (and its components) fully up-to-date? Do you have anything in /usr/local/include ?
