Hi dan Hi all gcc12(and gcc11) and -shlibs is working in Mojave, Catalina, BigSur, but it sounds strange and looks like magic, in Sonoma not working. Hopefully Fink experts and coordinators shall focus to resolve this failure problem somehow. Can you do it by symbolic link of exiting binary?? > 2024/04/30 17:57、Daniel Macks <[email protected]>: > > Okay, so at least one problem is confirmed fixed. Unfortunately, I probably won't have any way to work on gcc12 on a modern OS X for the near future. I see a github ticket about it, but the gcc packages and platforms are too confusing for me to decipher it. > > dan > > On 4/29/24, 2:46 AM, "[email protected]" <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi dan, > I tried it after fink selfupdate-git, and succeeded. > > New package: dists/stable/main/binary-darwin-x86_64/gnome/librsvg2-bin_2.26.3-6_darwin-x86_64.deb > New package: dists/stable/main/binary-darwin-x86_64/gnome/librsvg2_2.26.3-6_darwin-x86_64.deb > New package: dists/stable/main/binary-darwin-x86_64/gnome/librsvg2-gtk_2.26.3-6_darwin-x86_64.deb > New package: dists/stable/main/binary-darwin-x86_64/gnome/librsvg2-shlibs_2.26.3-6_darwin-x86_64.deb > > > > # Major objective to install rmagick-rb32 of the title, where firstly gcc12 is required; but unsuccessful(repeatedly tried). > As noted at Recent Package Updated by Hanspeter N., rmagick-rb32 updated! Please give the mirrors a few hours to sync. Then try librsvg2 again. If it fails, please let me know what the " Failed: phase compiling..." line says as well as the actual "error:" lines. > > dan > > > On 4/27/24, 8:59 AM, "[email protected]" <[email protected]> wrote: > > I tried to install librsvg2, but still unsuccessful on the same errors. > > > 2024/04/27 15:42、Daniel Macks <[email protected]>: > > > dan > > On 4/27/24, 2:40 AM, "[email protected]" <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi dan, > > > 2024/04/26 21:19、Daniel Macks <[email protected]>: > > > I pushed librsvg2-2.26.3-6, which makes some improvements in those locations. > > dan > > On 4/25/24, 7:20 AM, "[email protected]" <[email protected]> wrote: > > Hi Dave Vasilevsky - the maintainer of rmagick-rb32 > $ fink install rmagick-rb32 > The following 14 additional packages will be installed: > fftw3 fftw3-shlibs gcc12-compiler gcc12-shlibs ilmbase24-dev > imagemagick7.q16-common libdjvulibre21-dev libdjvulibre21-shlibs > libmagickcore7.q16.9-dev libmagickcore7.q16.9-shlibs libopenexr24-dev librsvg2 > > librsvg2-bin librsvg2-shlibs > > . . . > > Failed: phase compiling: librsvg2-2.26.3-5 failed > > > > > > > (###) Attn: Hanspeter Niederstrasser, > This package happened to be one of Recent Package Updated listed on Fink official site (4/20/2024). > All packages required to install the said package=rmagick-rb32 are unable to install in Sonoma14.4.1 (say, all installable if on BigSur). > > I wonder if on which macOS you examined for “Package Updated”, what you mean by “Recent”. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > _______________________________________________ Fink-beginners mailing list [email protected] List archive: https://sourceforge.net/p/fink/mailman/fink-users/ Subscription management: https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/fink-beginners
