current update of yt-dlp insufficient

On macOS Sonoma14.5, yt-dlp has been updated to 2024.05.27-2, but DL some sample youtubes or its kinds are not real mpeg4(not work QuickTimePlayer).


On macOS Mohave on my other Mac, ffmpeg was installed; 

it shows 
[hlsnative] Downloading m3u8 manifest
[hlsnative] Total fragments: 10
[download] 100% of    5.35MiB in 00:00:01 at 4.10MiB/s
[FixupM3u8] Fixing MPEG-TS in MP4 container of

On my Sonoma 14.5, nothing such messages, AND DL’d Youtube is not real mpeg4 (process is not explicitly shown).

I guess, without ffmpeg nor your propose other methods, it seemed unable to convert m3u8 to mpeg4 normally.

ffmpeg looks better tools for handling some sort of movies.
