A couple of things stand out, however: 1) You're missing /sw/var/lib/fink/index.db, and that's probably what is giving the errors you've been seeing. 2) The lack of "Storable" files under /sw/var/lib/fink may be a consequence of 1). My initial thought was that you somehow were storing cached data from the wrong Perl version but this is probably not the case. I'm not exactly sure how to proceed at this point.
