What is the status of the machine hosting finkproject.org? There's been multiple inquiries about it on #fink and there has been no information forthcoming besides "the hosting company said the machine died". Is it being replaced? Can it be replaced? Has there been any other feedback from xs4all about this? Have other hosting options been looked at? From what I recall, that machine was a donated server and given Fink's budget, that's an important consideration. Dreamhost, for example, offers free shared server hosting to 501c3 groups. Was Fink's non-profit status ever finalized? Even if a permanent move else where is not feasible, could some sort of redirect be set up such that www.finkproject.org points to a functioning web page (at SF or github or ...) even if it's not the fully operational site? Ironically, a core member won't get this message because his fink-related email is hosted on finkproject.org...
