I explicitly forbid you to make any further changes to any of my package
files (.info or .patch) without my explicit permission.

The R modules are yours. I have no particular say in what you do with
them. The Octave modules that _I_ maintain, on the other hand, are
MINE, so don't try to lump the two together.

The _real_ point of contention is that you've broken my cvs histories
without my permission. I'm not sure why this became an issue all of a
sudden, given that many of MY Octave modules have been sci/ for multiple
*years*. If you're trying to make things convenient for your
job/clients/whatever, your license to act without permission stops with
YOUR PACKAGES.

I'm willing to entertain update _suggestions_, and implement them at my
convenience. If you're in a hurry and can't wait for my schedule, then
that's what the local tree is for.
