FYI, the new llvm34-3.4.1-0e packaging completes my recent cleanups and
improvements to the llvm34 package.
1) The bootstrap of llvm34 in the 10.7 tree has been restored back to a
normal stage3 bootstrap by using the libc++ c++ library throughout.
2) The clang++-3.4 compiler now finds the system libc++ headers on 10.9
(which is the default c++ library) and on 10.7/10.8 when invoked with
-stdlib=libc++.
3) The compilers now have functional openmp support via the openmp shared
library from Intel. We will be able to merge in new fixes from upstream on
each point release of llvm 3.4.x (such as 3.4.2 due in the next week).
In case anyone is interested, I have bundled together a set of open source
example code which should be useful to do benchmarking of the relative
performance improvements with increasing numbers of OMP threads for
comparison to the performance from the FSF gcc 4.9.0 compilers.
