yes, that’s exactly what it is designed for - I already had a vague feeling I’d been dealing with a similar problem
not so long ago even when I reported this problem, sorry for not following up on this right away.
Something like

TarFilesRename: Readme:Readme.txt README:README.txt

should probably do it (chances are the case variants have the same content and can be dumped anyway,
at least they all have identical lengths…)
