Re: gcc49 bootstrap comparison failures

FYI, I've checked in the workaround of explicitly passing
--with-build-config=bootstrap-debug to configure when compiling
gcc49-4.9.2 on the Apple Clang 6.1 compilers. This suppresses the
bootstrap failure under Xcode 6.3.
