So, apparently, Apple deprecated the system OpenSSL as of 10.7: http://lists.apple.com/archives/macnetworkprog/2015/Jun/msg00025.html <http://lists.apple.com/archives/macnetworkprog/2015/Jun/msg00025.html> I don’t really remember having seen any compiler warnings, but whatever. In any case, Xcode 7 finally breaks the ability to build against the system’s OpenSSL, so we’re going to want to migrate our packages to use Fink’s openssl100.
