Not quite.  The issue also occurs when libxaw3dxft links to libXt.7.dylib but xemacs (or any of our other libxaw3dxft reverse-dependent packages) are still liked to libXt.6.dylib.  

So I guess the stock workaround for right now should be “fink rebuild libxaw3dxft-shlibs ; fink rebuild <package>”.
