fink-package-precedence problem

My Freeciv package has been using this bit since Nieder suggested it:


> CompileScript: <<
>     %{default_script}
>     fink-package-precedence .
> <<


     It has been working flawlessly for several versions; it even worked 
for me last week.  However, when i tried to build the latest version of 
Freeciv today, i get this:


> Making all in lua
> make[2]: Nothing to be done for `all'.
> make[2]: Nothing to be done for `all-am'.
> fink-package-precedence .
> Scanning /\.Plo,\.Po$/ dependency files...
> No dependency files found.
> ### execution of fink-package-precedence failed, exit code 255
> ### execution of /tmp/fink._rsyH failed, exit code 255


     What should i be looking at?
