Dear Baba,

Can you confirm that you are unable to reproduce the bug I am experiencing? Specifically, I can "load" and see info about a raster with ~r.external~, but I cannot display it with ~d.rast~.

If you experience this bug, I'd like to help fix the package. If not, I will dig deeper into my system and try to find out what is causing it. Any hints or suggestions you have to begin this would be greatly appreciated.
