qt5-mac-qtbase-5.7.1-7

Hi,

I see there is an issue that I’m not the only one to have faced, when trying to update packages with fink.

I had not upgraded fink for years and have to re-install it, which I’ve been trying to do, but I’m bumping against this error:

Can't resolve dependency "xcode.app (>= 5.1.1)" for package "qt5-mac-qtbase-5.7.1-7" (no matching packages/versions found)

I don’t have qt5 installed, and it won’t install or any other package, as it’s stopping right there every time.

I’m on high sierra 13.6 and don’t use apfs.

I noticed some having the issue mentioning apfs, but I haven’t switched to it.

Just to get more clues, I tried installing qt5 using homebrew and it went fine, so it’s fink having that issue.

When is there going to be a fix for this? I’m stuck at that point, and certainly broken programs depending on those fink packages, which are all gone right now.

I’m not on the mailing list for this, so if I need to try something, I need to know via email.
