Re: qt5-mac-qtbase-5.7.1-7

Hi,

Ok, tried that, and indeed it didn’t stop there any more and went a whole lot further, installing more stuff, dependencies, but after quite some time, it eventually stopped about Xcode anyway.

True, I only have the Xcode CL tools, not the whole shebang, and I don’t want to install that whole thing.
True as well, my version of Xcode obviously dates quite a bit, as I haven’t done any updates to it for years.
Not sure how I could update that though, being on high Sierra 13.6 and not planning to update it further at the present time, I’ve seen things about Xcode that aren’t encouraging about such updates.
Is there one more trick to use to get passed this?

Here’s what I got where it stopped:




Again complaining about qt5 and xcode. Most people don’t want the full Xcode, and it shouldn’t be required for such things..
