In updating my fink, I found the following error:

It does not appear that the library “libclang_rt.ubsan_osx_dynamic.dylib” is on my system at all. There is a libclang_rt.asan_osx_dynamic.dylib and a libclang_rt.tsan_osx_dynamic.dylib but no ubsan. This package has a whole bunch of dependencies and I would like to keep it updated.

Also include the following system information:
Package manager version: 0.45.3
Distribution version: selfupdate-git Sat Jul 24 12:59:00 2021, 10.11, x86_64
Trees: local/main stable/main local/injected
Xcode.app: 8.2.1
Xcode command-line tools: 8.2.0.0.1.1480973914
Max. Fink build jobs: 1

Google seems to imply that the culprit is the clang option "-fsanitize=undefined”, and that "-fsanitize=address,undefined” is the solution. But as possible work around that has some other effects that may or may not be important. https://stackoverflow.com/questions/42893831/ld-file-not-found-library-developer-libclang-rt-ubsan-osx-dynamic-dylib
