First have you tried the procedure from Hanspeter? > Fink-0.45.3 does not work against Big Sur. You'll need to download the git version of Fink for this. Our current development code works on Big Sur, but not on M1 machines (but it looks like you have an intel model (i386) so you should be OK). This is known to work for 11.5.2 systems. I am not sure about 11.6. What problems are you seeing?
