We need to make a new package for the new library name. Until now, there wasn't need for anyone using the newer 1.10.7, but I can try later to see what needs to be done to make that available as a new separate package.

Thanks!

But if I understand correctly, the current fink version is 1.10.3. Maybe I am wrong but it appears that the source code only downloads 1.10.3?? The final version is as you say 1.10.7, so a simple version update should work.

You are right about the include files odd location. Any reason these are in there instead of the normal /opt/sw/include/hdf5.v1.10 ?? Is that to deal with there odd versioning? Couldn’t those be in the normal fink include hierarchy? I should have paid attention to that detail.

Thanks,
Scott
